Strange Fruit – Bad Seeds
November 4, 2007

The opening at Receiver was a blast with lots of folks attending the opening. I am beat this Sunday after non-stop chatting with folks and a few too many wines. I took pics of the show early in the afternoon before the crowd arrived.

Martha Sue’s epic window installation. One of the reasons I like showing with Martha Sue (this is our third show together) is that she will always push her work to the next level and produce great site specific work like this.

Here is more of her work in the show…

Here is my work on the facing wall…

I completely spaced taking crowd shots (I got two later in the eve) but thanks to Josh Keyes and his camera for providing some pics. And thanks to all those who came out and thanks to all who sent well wishes beforehand. I am pleased as punch with how well this show came together and how easy it has been to work with all the good folks at Receiver.

The show runs through November 30th so come by and check it out if you haven’t already.

Thanks all! I was pretty useless yesterday but at least managed to get these pics up. And for the record, the t-shirt was made by Mark Nicola of Rock, Paper, Scissors fame.
