Crossing the Line
November 7, 2008

MKC and I had a great time at the opening of “Crossing the Line: New Perspectives in Drawing” at the gallery at Santa Rosa Junior College. What a great gallery space they have and William Smith has curated a solid showcase of work that challenges preconceptions of drawing.
Here is the work of Kurt Kemp…

Jen Garrido drawings…

Bryan Barasch…

Evri Kwong

Frank Ryan

and last but hopefully not least…

Nice work John.
What did Jonn Herschend’s letter say?

I’ve enjoyed my first visit here… So many links to great artists. The whole exhibit looks very cool and varied. I like the subject too.

Great! I’m glad you liked the post and yes, the show has great artists in it. Jason, I cannot remember exactly but there was a fairly convoluted excuse and some art history references, which is right up Jonn’s alley.
