Stunning show of Crystal Morey‘s new clay works at the Compound Gallery in Oakland. The show is titled “In Our Nature” and features her ethereal female characters interacting with recently extinct and nearly extinct animals. The show is hopeful, in that the viewer can imagine another parallel world where these creatures can roam the world unmolested, and in harmony with humankind. A very cool addition to this show is the accompanying tour booklet and QR code generated audio tour.
