Oakland NOW
Housed in a vacant former bank location, this show of Oakland art is quite interesting. A lot of diversity here in this large group show curated by Ken Harman of Spoke Art in SF. This show is also sponsored by the East Bay Express and the City of Oakland and will run until the end of August 2012. Some of the prominent lineup of artists include: Aaron Nagel, Andy Witrak, Brendan Monroe, Brett Amory. Deth P Sun, GATS, Gina Tuzzi, Isabel Samaras, Jason Munn, Jeremiah Jenkins, Jesse Hernandez, John Casey, Justin Lovato, Kelly Allen, Ken Davis, Lucien Shapiro, Marcos LaFarga, Monica Canilao, Nicomi Nix Turner, Rich Jacobs and Scott Hove.
