Some pics of the WSD install at The Hive along with some show and opening pics. I had my studio open with a nice keg of Red Lager from Linden Street Brewery. That’s good stuff! Aaron from The Trappist also brought a case of Wet Dream by. Needless to say, we drank it all! Thanks to everyone who came out. I think we had hundreds of visitors. Super cool!!! Thanks MKC for taking some of these pics!

MKC and I and the Trappist crew headed down to Bodegraven to the de Molen brewery for a tour of their new facilities. It is still a small craft brewery, in spite of it’s growth. The tiny, but densely stocked, bottle room is like a small beer chapel. Mary and I picked up a couple of rare bottles to try at home.

The tanks are named after Star Wars characters and objects.

Peter van der Arend’s other beer bar, besides Beer Temple, is The Eagle’s Nest a.k.a. ‘t Arendsnest. This is a really beautiful bar with a terrific atmosphere and nice beer selection.

Beer Temple is a cool American style beer bar in Amsterdam featuring a number of American craft beers and microbrews. Peter, the owner, also owns a Dutch beer bar known as the Eagle’s Nest. I’ll post on that lovely place soon.

Just off the plane in Amsterdam and Mary and I met up with Aaron and Chuck from The Trappist at the Wildeman Bar. Tried some great de Molen beers. Met Peter from Beer Temple which we will hit later tonight. Who needs sleep? Let’s power on.

View from out hotel!
