This show just opened at New Langton Arts. It’s a solid group show featuring feminist driven work. My main inspiration for checking out this show was to get a closer view of Jonathan Solo‘s work. I have seen his work at Catharine Clark’s gallery and the Besser show at the de Young. My photos don’t do the subtleties of the graphite work justice. It’s quite compelling.
This gorilla suit by Anna Maltz is very cool…

That’s just a sampling. The show runs through March 15th.
John,
Thanks for the support. This show is compelling not only because of the content but also the curators Maria Del Carmen Carrion and Jill Dawsey took risks showing images that are not trendy in the SF scene today. I was honored to be chosen as the only ” male ” in the show.
Warm regards
Jonathan Solo
