Interface Gallery in Oakland has a nice group show up titled “Wild and Free” featuring nature-inspired works by Karl Cronin, Afton Love, Mary Anne Kluth, Nathaniel Parsons, Danielle Schlunegger, and Clare Szydlowski. Nathaniel Parsons hosted an afternoon picnic table-top carving session at the gallery. It gave me a chance to try out some classic stick-n-poke designs in the form of scratched-in graffiti.
