I’ve been fairly hermit-like these days. Not sure why. Maybe it’s the winter weather (though the Bay Area doesn’t have much of a winter), maybe it’s just a shift in energy. Anyway, been slacking on show coverage. Here are some pics from venturing out the other night with some art pals. Hit the “The Looking Glass: Refraction through the Female Gaze” show at the Mirus Gallery in downtown SF. Though there were sevearl artists represented, I especially appreciated the work of Alexandra Levasseur and Janelle Wisehart.
Hit the grand opening of the new White Walls/Shooting Gallery space. Beautiful space. The two back project spaces held some interesting work. In one room was the work of Word to Mother, and the other held work by Sickboy.
